Carolyn Kenner Crikis, 86, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025. Born in Hawkins County, Tennessee, on February 16, 1939, Carolyn was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a faithful Greek Orthodox Christian.
A woman of deep faith, Carolyn found joy in fellowship and took great pride in sponsoring many godchildren throughout her life. She was a dedicated homemaker who lovingly raised her four children, creating a home filled with warmth, kindness, and unwavering support.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Charles “Buddy” Kenner; her son, Anthony Crikis; and her granddaughter, Laura Lamby.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Evangelos “Van” Crikis; her daughters, LeeAnn Lamby and Amy Crikis; her son, Michael Crikis, and his wife, Amber Morgan. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Evan Crikis and Sarah Lamby-George, along with Sarah’s husband, Stephen George. Carolyn is also survived by her sister, Kay Turner.
Carolyn’s life was a testament to love, faith, and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and the values she instilled in her family will live on.
A service to honor Carolyn’s life will be held at Dobies Funeral Home, 701 E. Tarpon Ave., Tarpon Springs, FL, on Monday, March 31st, from 11 AM to 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn’s memory to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
