Cary “Bo” Cosimi, 63, of Brooksville, FL, passed away on April 23, 2025. Born in Leominster, Massachusetts, on February 28, 1962, Bo lived a life full of service, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Bo proudly served with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office for 26 years, retiring as a Lieutenant. His dedication to his community left a lasting impact, but it was his humor, heart, and one-of-a-kind personality that truly defined him. Everyone who met him has their own “Bo story”—he made every moment memorable, often in the funniest and most unexpected ways.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nazareno and Phyllis Cosimi. Bo is survived by his beloved wife, Kim; his brothers, Terry and Greg; his children, Samantha (Dylan), Zachary (Lauren), Sean, and Skylar; and his two adored grandchildren.
Bo’s family is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and the Pasco law enforcement community. True to form, Bo leaves behind a legacy of laughter, stories, and the kind of memories that live forever.

Sending our love to all of the family and friends! Bo was an incredible person who always showed everyone kindness, hilariousness, and how to have a great time. Happy I was one of the few that got to try his world famous wine, an acquired taste with the strength of moonshine, but a fan favorite for a group of poor college kids. Great memories we will always look back on in his memory!

Cary (BO) Cosimi was the type of man once you knew him you automatically liked him. He was the first person I met at the Pasco County sheriffs office in 1984. May God bless you and you will be missed .

My condolences to you and your family Kim. “Bo” had such a huge impact on my career with the SO when I started. He always embraced all new Deputies and taught them “old school” police work. I will always remember the good times we had working good ol’ Hudson with only 2-3 Deputies and holding it down like champs. Bo, you will be missed by all the people that you touched throughout your career my friend.
