Catherine Brodbeck “Kay” 92 a former Switchboard Operator in Chicago, Ill. Kay was born in Johnston City, Ill. on December 10, 1928. Daughter of a coal miner and her mother a bootlegger. She loved her garden of flowers and had the greenest thumb imaginable. She was independent and a woman of her own terms. She was witty and loved to read palms. Loved Donald Trump. She was sad to see Biden get in but watched him for a good laugh.
Kay is survived by daughter Katherine Clark of New Port Richey, son Kenneth Zaniewski of New Jersey, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands Msgt Andrew J Zaniewski and W. James Brodbeck and her son ret. (staff sgt) Andrew J Zaniewski JR.
