I will miss our chats on the phone about the news, politics, and sports. I will miss our weekend visits and talking about all the little things going on in our lives. I have so many beautiful memories – fun at the bowling alley with you and Marilyn, Christmas caroling in the snow and the little biscuit pizzas you made afterward, our drives to Florida before moving here, you sipping Pepsi in a glass filled with ice, going to work with you when you worked the midnight shift and the delicious hot cocoa you made for us, playing in the yard at the apartments in Euclid while you chatted with neighbors….so many wonderful memories. Miss you Mom.

You asked us not to remember you this way, and we promised we wouldn’t. What I will always remember is you sitting up in bed with your fist in the air telling all your children to be strong. And all of us holding on to that fist, as one. You are the strongest person I know, life was not always kind but it never kept you down for long, I will always remember your red hair, the bowling ally and hocking corn in Ohio. Love you Mom.
