Cecelia G. Beard, 79, of Hudson, Florida passed away on May 25, 2022. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland; married a Navy career officer; had 2 children, a daughter and son; moved to Hudson, Florida and worked in the media center of Ridgewood High School in Port Richey for 20 years before retiring. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Kazimier and Genevieve Sokal, and her husband of 54 years, Tommy H. Beard (Lcdr., USN, retired). She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Daniels (Wayne) of Land O Lakes, FL; her son, Christopher Beard (Chris) of St. Augustine, FL; her grandson Wade Daniels of Orlando, FL; her brother, John Sokal (Dorthea) of Loveland, OH; and her sister, Jane Latini (Michael) of Port Richey, FL. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
