Charlene Adkins, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully on the 1st of February, 2022 at the age of 68. She was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to parents Leonard O. and K. Madaline Adkins, who preceded her in death. Charlene leaves behind her son Michael R. Poole and wife Nea; daughter Tina M. (Poole) Brown and husband Brian. She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren, Chelsey M. Norris, Brandon S. Norris, Justin A. Norris, Helen O. Poole, and Michael A. L. Poole. Also left behind one great-granddaughter Ellanora Sophia Jacobs. In addition, she leaves behind her soul mate Nick Vukcevic of 11 years. In her years of raising children, Ms. Adkins achieved a B.A. in Finance at Virginia Wesleyan College, along with an A.S. in Accounting at Bluefield State College, plus held a Real Estate Brokers License in the State of Florida. She enjoyed her role as comptroller of medium-sized companies and in later years traveling with her soul mate. Charlene Adkins is now in the hands of God being reunited with her parents. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in her name be sent to Gulfside Center for Hospice Care of NPR.
