I had the privilege of working with Capt. Coffiey for several years during his tenure with NPD. He was a very knowledgeable, kind and helpful man to all who needed or asked. My heart goes out to Diana, Chuck and Kim and the rest of the family. Rest in peace now , Captain. You certainly earned it with your many years of service to the military, the Law and Law Enforcement.

Chuck was my sergeant when I was still a rookie on the police department. He was a great leader and a good officer who served his community with with dedication and forbearance. I’m happy he lived a long and productive life after his law enforcement retirement.

I’m sure he will also be remembered for his love, generous spirit and dedication to his family. May his passion for life live on in his grandchildren.
