Charles David Hunter, 81, of Holiday, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2024. He was born in Troy, New York, he resided in New York state most of his life until 1993, then moved to Florida. He was in the graduating of 1961 at Lansingburgh High School. He joined the Navy in 1961 and was a veteran of the United States. In his free time he enjoyed boating. He was employed at Bumstead Chevrolet in the 1960’s. He owned his own well-drilling business in Valley Falls, New York. He was the property manager even after retirement in Florida.

He is survived by his nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and predeased by two grandchildren

Even in the end, you didn’t do the right thing. I just wanted more than anything was to hear from your mouth that you loved me daughter.
I just wanted a Dad, that’s all. I fixed your obituary because it was terrible. Not sure why but my mother raised me properly. I still cared and you despite the end results.
