Charles Joseph Diel, age 69, passed away Friday, July 7th, 2023, after his battle with cancer (cancer was proven to be stubborn). Charles was born in St. Clair, Illinois (Scott AFB) on December 14th, 1953, to the late Catherine Elizabeth Judge and Joseph Edward Diel. In his spare time, Charles had a passion for trains and models. He is remembered for his love for his family. He is predeceased by his mother Catherine Diel; his father Joseph Diel; and his sister Kathleen Albert. He is survived by his niece; 3 nephews; 5 grand nieces; 4 grand nephews; 3 great grand nieces; and 3 great grand nephews.
