Chris (Christos) Gregory, 92, of New Port Richey, Florida, died peacefully at home after a long illness on May 3, 2020. He was attended by HPH Hospice. He is survived by his loving wife Irene of 57 years. He is also survived by his two loving daughters; Betty Townsend, husband Hugh, Jane Kyprianou, husband Kypro. As well as by his beloved grand and great grandchildren; Christina Ruvelas, husband Gregory and daughters Demi & Dina; George Kyprianou, daughter Eliana, Irene Miller, husband Chris and son Zachary, Chris Kyprianou; and Alex Kyprianou.
He was born in Kastri, in the region of Sparta Greece. He is a Greek Army veteran of the Greek Civil War. Chris immigrated to America and became a U.S. Citizen in 1961. He raised his family and co-owned a restaurant with his brother in New Jersey until his retirement. He moved to Florida and was active in the Greek Community and St. George Greek Orthodox Church. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile, loving devotion to family and positive attitude. He will always be missed but not forgotten for his devotion to friends and family by those who knew him.
