It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Christopher Holets, aged 53, on January 24, 2025. A loving husband, father, and son, Christopher’s beloved presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Cindy Holets, with whom he shared 23 wonderful years of marriage, as well as his three children, Tyler, Haley, and Connor which he cherished every moment spent with them. He is also remembered fondly by his parents, Peggy and Paul McDonald, along with his late father, Kenneth Burnett. Christopher is further survived by his brother, Matt Holets, and sister, Briana Moen, who will forever hold onto memories of their time together.
Throughout the later part of his life, Christopher faced challenges, battling Crohn’s disease for many years before enduring a tragic brain bleed that required prolonged hospitalization.
Christopher brought joy, laughter, and heart to every room. A passionate sports fan, he found joy in cheering for his favorite Tampa sports teams and playing fantasy football. His funny nature made him the resident jokester, brightening moments with his humor and warm spirit.
Professionally, Christopher worked for Tech Data for over 25 years, where his dedication and skill in sales earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues. He created lasting friendships in both his career and personal life.
As we mourn the loss of this remarkable man, we celebrate the countless memories and love he leaves behind. Christopher’s legacy will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace, Chris.
We love you always!
