Curtis Parker Small, of Palm Harbor, Fla., passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024. He was preceded by his wife, Elona Cole; his daughter, Lauryn Small; his parents, June Curtis Small and Parker Small; and his sister, Leslie Small Berkheimer.
He was very passionate about the loves in his life. Curt was a gifted athlete throughout high school and college, excelling in both sports and academics. He earned his master’s degree from Wharton School of Business a testament to his intellect and drive. Known for his sharp mind he had a lifelong dedication to business and entrepreneurship. He had love for the ocean, one of his favorite jobs was being a lifeguard in his youth near Jones Beach in Long Island, NY. Curt was the consummate storyteller sharing his experiences with friends and family. Curt was a strong supporter of the arts, passionate for travel and classic cars. He also was known for his generosity toward those whom others might have overlooked. He is survived by his children and his four grandchildren. A private celebration of his life will be held by his family at a later date.
