its taken me a long time to build myself up to do this. i love you so much darlene. i wish you knew how loved you were and im sorry you felt any less than that. with you being gone , i realized how much i truly need you. you have missed so much, but you’ve always been with me in my heart.

We had plans to get together after you returned from Louisiana. We discussed our short history and apologized for our harsh words towards one another.
Your sister Shantell told you that your father Tom and I didn’t want you to stay with us and that was the furthest from the truth!
I miss you. I miss what relationship we could have built. I am still hurting and sad that you didn’t feel confident enough to come to your father or I when you weren’t welcome at your sisters home anymore.
We will never know how you could have blossomed with the right support system.
I look at your pictures everyday on our wall and pray your soul is at peace and know you were loved.
