Diane Sammy passed away on October 26, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Diane was born in Peoria, Illinois on January 11, 1957, and grew up in Puerto Rico, Michigan, and St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands where she met her husband Andre; and from there they moved to Florida.

Diane was a Division Coordinator at the H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center where she worked with her wonderful co-workers for 15 years.

Diane was most happy at home spending her time with her artistic endeavors and watching Harry Potter movies with her daughter Kaylynn.  Her sense of humor and laughter would brighten every room she entered.  She was the most gentle, loving, and kind-hearted Wife, Mother, Sister, and friend and always put others before herself.

Our hearts are broken by her passing, but we are certain she now has the wings of an angel and will watch over all of us.

Diane is survived by her husband, Andre; children, Christian and Kaylynn; sisters, Joli and Suzy and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Her Memorial Gathering will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 10 am-Noon with a Service at 12 pm at Dobies Funeral Home- 8825 Old County Rd.54, New Port Richey.
