As early as I can remember, Don has been in my life and my thoughts. In the Boy Scouts, playing ball, singing together and competing for all the young hearts in New Castle where we grew up. A treasure of memories I will have forever. El, my heart is heavy for the loss you and your family are feeling but hope, like me, the joy he brought to our lives will help us get through this moment. He will be missed but he left us much joy to remember. I know heaven is brighten by the beautiful music he has always shared with us. I’m sure he is already forming a trio with Russ and Ron.
God speed Don and press on El.

As a fellow Wilberforcean, we shared the campus during the early 60’s. You are recalled with fond memories. May your family share loving thoughts at this time of mourning. God’s Grace.

How well I can remember the year we spent together sharing living quarters in the penthouse of Emery Hall. As talented as you were, how nervous you would be prior to a solo presentation.
Rest in peace my brother; I will see you in Omega Chapter.

I envied you for that golden voice of yours and your laughter made Emory a fun place to live.
There were never any other “Forcetones” after us. May the love of God provide comfort for your family. We will miss you.

Don, you were my favorite cousin. The last time we were together I took several great pictures with you and Aunt Lena of our reunion. I didn’t know how to operate the camera, but one quick course from you was all it took. I miss our conversations and hearing the patience in your voice as you spoke with me. I never got that book. I will; I promise you. May your wife, Sharon, daughter, grandkids and brother Elliott find strength knowing God loved you more. You will be miss. Your cousin, Mary and daughter Joy “Neeta”
