Nicodemus, Donald William
Nick, as he was known to everyone he met, passed away Friday March 27, 2020 at the age of 76. Nick is survived by his wife of 50 years Jodi Nicodemus, his son Reverend Rodney Nicodemus (Jenn), his two grand-daughters Brooke and Kyleigh, his brother Ronald Nicodemus (Karen), brothers and sisters in-law, who viewed him as their own brother, and many nieces and nephews, some of which he became a dad to as they grew up.
Nick was loved by everyone he came in contact with. People were drawn to his outgoing personality and his love for life. He was a member of Hudson Church of God, but was very active in the youth ministry at Tarpon Methodist where his son is the Director of Youth and Young Adults. He received the name Papa Nick, from his 2 grand-daughters and was known as “Papa Nick†to hundreds of children, youth, and adults over the years. Papa Nick is known and loved from the youth camps and mission trips he chaperoned and helped run over the last 25 years. His presence, passion, and pursuit of Jesus was an incredible example for the kids he came in contact with.
Nick wasn't merely liked by people; he was deeply loved by his family, co-workers, church family, friends, and neighbors. He was a caring man with a servants heart who always put others needs before his own. Our world is a little darker now because he truly reflected the light of Christ that was very much alive in his heart. Nick danced his way into our lives and hearts and I can honestly say he left nothing on the dance floor.
You are loved, and we know you loved us; you will be greatly missed by so many.

To all family and friends, I send my heartfelt condolences.
Nick was a one of a kind. A straight shooter. His passion for the Lord was evident in everything he did. God bless you my friend.

What a sweet obituary and tribute to Nick. The moment I met him, it felt as if I had known him all my life. To know him was to love him and we loved him back. What a loss. So thankful we will begin celebrating eternity together soon.
