In loving memeory of Donna M. Oliver (DeMonda) age 66, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 15, 2025, at home, surrounded by the love of her daughters and family, after a long and courageous battle with illness.
Born and raised in New York, Donna was proud of her roots, and it showed. She was strong, tough, quick-witted, and fiercely loving. Her unmistakable New York accent, dry humor, and no-nonsense attitude made her unforgettable to everyone who met her.
She worked for many years as a waitress, where her hard work, charm, and ability to connect with people shined. She was down-to-earth, funny, and always real.
Donna was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, a loving sister, and a loyal partner. She was married to her late husband, Chuck, for ten years before his passing from lung cancer. For over two decades, she shared her life and love with her longtime partner, Steve.
Above all, Donna’s heart belonged to her family. She adored her daughters, Mary and Debbie, and her beloved grandsons, Brayden and Bryson, who were the light of her life. She poured her love into her family with everything she had, showing up with strength, support, and endless affection.
Donna also had a playful side. She loved online shopping (especially on Amazon), playing Yahtzee, and treating herself to scratch-off tickets. She never passed up a chance to laugh, to give, or to enjoy the little things in life — and she did it all her way.
In her final days, she was cared for with unwavering love and compassion by her daughters, especially Mary, who selflessly gave everything to ensure Donna’s comfort and peace. Her family is grateful she was able to be at home, where she felt most safe and loved.
Donna is survived by her daughters Mary Hinchey and Debbie Oliver; her grandsons Brayden and Bryson; her partner Steve; her siblings, nieces, nephews, and many extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.
Her love, strength, and unforgettable spirit will remain with all of us — always.
