Donna R. Morrell

Donna R. Morrell

July 09, 1960~November 04, 2021

Donna R. Morrell, Age 61, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on November 4, 2021. Donna was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Louis and Doris (Becker) Janicke on July 9, 1960, and grew up in the town of Wautoma, WI. Donna loved many things in life: the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and of course shopping. Donna was loved by so many people; her loving heart, warm smile, and generous spirit made it hard not to love her whole being. She had made a promise to her late husband, Jorden Siegel, that she would find her way to Florida for him, and of course, she fulfilled and kept that promise. She relocated her 3 kids and his spirit to Florida in 1996 and lived out the rest of her beautiful life there. Donna is survived by her 3 children: Jolene (John) Swager, Donavin Siegel, Devin (Elizabeth) Gunderson; and 7 grandchildren: Benjamin Wiik, Brianna Wiik, Jakob Wiik, Julianna Wiik, Caidyn Siegel, Neo Swager, and Dayton Gunderson along with many other family members. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, 3 pm – 4 pm, at Dobies Funeral Home 8825 Old County Rd 54, New Port Richey, FL 34653. Memorial service in Wisconsin to follow for all to join the family of Donna Morrel in loving memory of her.

Jolene, Donavin and Devin, I am so sorry for your loss my love and prayers are with all of you. The world gained another angel, my Bestie Donna. I have never met anyone like Donna before. We would laugh over anything and everything. The love of family we both share, us bragging about our grandchildren and children. OMG, Donna could shop like no other. All the times I would get a phone call and hear I am in your driveway, I am kidnapping you. No matter was going on if I needed her she was here for me. She was generous to a fault. The times that all I wanted to do was isolate and she would drag me out. Me and her were both born with the worry gene, s we hadf each other to worry with. Donna was loving, caring, stubborn, spicy, funny, responsible, independent and looked out for everyone including people she didn’t even know. I love you and miss you Girl, fly free till we meet again

She was a soul to never forget! We worked together the last days of her live! We laughed, we ate together, we talked about family and about kindness!
We used to joke about something that she talked me all the time: “I’m a bad bad girl” and we laughed a lot with this!
We loved her, it was a fantastic and an amazing privilege to share with her!
Good journey my friend! There is a big happiness waiting for you!

I met Donna on Facebook though we grew up in the same town and then found ourselves and each other in Florida. Just getting to know and become her friend and gone way too soon. So sorry for our loss! She had a beautiful ❤️.

It still doesn’t seem real to me….. you were probably one of the kindest human beings I’ve ever come across. You love your family so much. I’m going to miss all the shopping, early breakfast and that laugh. We had so much planned, I love you gal and I miss you very much. This is the first Thanksgiving since we met and you didn’t eat from my house, doesn’t even feel the same 😞 I hope you’re doing a lot of shopping up there 😇
