Doris Joan Crisci, wife of William Crisci who celebrated her 94th birthday, passed away on
Christmas Day 2021. Despite her age, she was mentally dynamic and a force to be reckoned
With. She could relate to any generation and counted those generations among her friends.
She was known for her generosity and her deep concern for her Crisci and Kolligian family. That is if you weren’t her opponent in Skipbo or cards!
Doris began as a bookkeeper but evolved into
A keen businesswoman. She and her husband, William, ran two successful flower businesses and a sport card and comic shop.
They eventually moved from Brooklyn, retiring
To Florida. Doris was the Matriarch of both families.
The world is more than a little dimmer
Without her presence. She will be put to rest
on January 16th, 2022.!

Doris was the very epitome of enduring grace. Though her loss to us is profound, her spirit will live on and inspire
the many whose lives she has touched. Doris was an extraordinary woman, whip-smart and perceptive about people, exuding positive energy even in her old age, warm and loving, but sassy rather than saccharine, always entertaining and engaging, an irresistible life force and a natural matriarch. We were blessed to have had her for as long as we did.

My sister as the Matriarch of the family was a facilitator-she brought everyone together. She and her husband were the model couple. Though her husband, Bill, was the
Funny one of the two, she managed to express her own humor. Two expressions endure:
“I may not always be right, but I am NEVER wrong.”
And when admonished,
“I was hunched over but you straightened me out.”
I will always smile when I think of her…a life to celebrate.
