Dorothy “Mickey” Hebert passed away peacefully in New Port Richey on the 24th of May, 2022. Dorothy was born on the 3rd day of February in 1930 and raised on Long Island, New York. She was a loved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & wife. She was married to her true love Fred Hebert and together they built a family to whom she would dedicate her life. Together they had four wonderful children Tom, Susan, Debbie & Christine. Dorothy was also known as “Gigi”; her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of three. Her family would like everyone to know what joy she brought to our lives & how caring and giving she was to her family. Dorothy gave us memories we’ll forever cherish from lunch trips to vacations, golf cart rides and sleepovers. She knew how to bring our family together and was happiest surrounded by us all. We will cherish the memories made, just as she cherished her time with us. She will be missed and loved by all but never forgotten. We can now celebrate, she is reunited with her Fred and her parents in God’s kingdom where she can now walk, run & fly. Don’t say good-bye, say so long.
Donations in Mickey’s memory may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital or to Gulfside Hospice of New Port Richey.

May Mickey rest in peace. I was sad to hear of her passing. I enjoyed playing bunco with her while she was at Tall Pines, she was a hoot! And I enjoyed listening to her stories of how she golfed with my grandmother many years back at Tall Pines.
