E. Victoria Smith of Holiday, FL, Purchase, NY and Boston MA, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2021. She was 96 years old.
Victoria was the daughter of the late Margaret Smith, nee Scanlon, and John C. Smith of Boston. Victoria is survived by a sister, Grace Giampietro, nine nieces and nephews, and two Goddaughters: Sharon Costas of MA and Jane Knuth of MD. Victoria was predeceased by her brother John Smith, and 3 sisters: Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Hanfield, Gladys McKeon, and Dorothy Barry.
Victoria was an active, devout member of her Orthodox Community, having worked and worshiped at the Archdiocese, Hellenic College of Holy Cross, and local parishes in Massachusetts, Rye, Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor and more. Victoria was an avid traveler and took an interest in reading, history and religion. She led many Bible studies and was an enthusiastic Godmother.

Reverend Father Athanasios Haros will conduct a service at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Tarpon Springs FL, Wednesday, September 1st at Noon. Victoria will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery in Dover, MA, address 54 Centre Street
