Young, Edward J. Jr. (Ned)
Survived by his wife Gladys Rose Young, father Edward J. Young and mother Priscilla Young ( deceased )children Edward J Young III, Priscilla Littlewood and husband Stu, granddaughter Peyton Littlewood, Jackie Young ( deceased) step-son Troy Shea Foley II, brothers Gregory Young and wife Anita, Randy Young and wife Lucia, sister Shelley Nolan and Priscilla Young, Meredith Reinhardt ( deceased ) and nieces and nephews.
Ned lived in Holiday FL. and prior to becoming disabled worked as the chef for 11 years for the Tampa Bay Rays. He enjoyed working with the Tampa Bay Rays and the travel that this job took him on. He was very adventurous. He spent most of his days working on the house since he loved woodworking and he created a beautiful home. He married me in 2011 but had been together for years and said to me one day “Marry me and I will keep you Young forever” He kept his promise.
He also collected silver coins and rare metals and would pride himself in collecting a full set of each type of coin. He would send coins to his granddaughter who he cherished, so she could share in his love of coin collecting. He would say by the time she is ready for college this would help with the expense. Ned enjoyed this hobby and at one point I think became his obsession. He would research each coin to find the right coin and send to his family and friends at Christmas.
In his spare time he would watch his favorite show ” Mash” said he got this from his brothers. He was a war enthusiast and could tell you the dates and everything around each war and how they came about. I would just love to hear him tell the stories. He also loved his music and wrote songs and put them on a CD. I could sit for hours just listening to him play.
Ned loved his family very much and just from every story he told me I felt like I knew each and every one of you. He lived a very full life.
Ned was a warm and kind person that would do anything for anyone. He will be missed by all, especially me.
Good Bye my love till I see you again.I know you are at peace and up there with your Mom, Jackie Meredith and Jason.

Ned I just wanted to thank you for the best life I have had. You have been my life my soul mate my love. I miss you so much and can't picture my life without you. Major is having a hard time and I know he is also mourning for you. Please don't forget me I will never have a day in my life that you won't be there. We have been through a lot together and were always strong together I just hope I can be strong for you. This is so unfair I always thought I would have you here longer but God had other plans for you. I will miss and love you forever. Till we meet again in heaven. You promised to keep me young forever and you have I could never replace you and wouldn't even try. I cherish what we had. I will continue talking to you maybe once in a while you can let me know you hear me. Good bye I love 💘 you with all my heart â¤
