Edward L. Sullivan, 80, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away on Monday, September 2nd, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia; daughter Ann Waterhouse (Todd); son Edward R. “Robb” Sullivan (Diana); grandchildren Amber Majerus (Kenny), Aidan Sullivan, Jocelyn Waterhouse, Oliver Waterhouse; and great-grandchildren Paityn Baughman and Beckett Majerus. He is also survived by his brother Michael Sullivan (Judy); and sister Mary Jo Blakely. Predeceased by brother Joseph Sullivan; as well as parents Mary and Edward Sullivan.
Memorial service to be held on September 21st, 2024, at 11:30 am at St. Ignatius church in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Edward served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of Vietnam, having fought through the Tet Offensive. With a long career in various sales roles, he remained an avid supporter of all Chicago and Tampa Bay football and baseball teams, sometimes to the dismay of his family. Not a flashy man, his superbly dry sense of humor, genuine listening skills, and broad interests made him a wise counselor and sounding-board for all. Exceptionally proud of his children and all his grandchildren, he was a truly caring, concerned father and a stalwart of the broader family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Dear Pat know that our prayers are for you and Robb and Anne at this very sad time. Ed was a great storyteller and we enjoyed our time with you in Mexico. He will truly be missed. Love, Rosemary and Jeff

Pat, my heart aches for you and the kids. To lose your life partner is sorrowful but especially when so sudden. I will always remember that handsome marine who came to Darlington on weekend leave and crazed me and Ro around the square in his flashy convertible. We were the talk of the town! MY his memory be eternal.
