Eileen World, 70, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on March 28th, 2024, at Suncoast Hospice Care Center Mid Pinellas. She was born March 29th, 1953, in Fall River, MA, the daughter of Richard Souza and Alverda Kantz. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brother Richard Souza II and nephew Peter Monteiro III. Surviving in addition to her husband Richard World and son Steven Love Jr and wife Susan Love; granddaughters Chelsea Love, Chloe Love; grandson Steven Love III and wife Jennifer Love;  sister Roberta Williams and husband Steven Williams; son David Monteiro and wife Iti; brother Jeffrey; sisters Mary Jerabek, Jeanne Frates; sons Keith World, James World; daughter Ericka Flores. Also predeceased Margaret Lisee. Also survived is her life-long friend Cindy Fay

Eileen attended Bristol Community College while working at Kmart. She worked many years at Charlton Memorial Hospital as a nurses aide, then went back to class and learned Medical Billing, and last became a home health aide for the elderly. She loved each of her pets and had many dogs, cats, birds.

Services will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church of Clearwater, FL, on April 13th, 2024. A celebration of life will be held in Fall River, MA, at McGovern’s restaurant on June 1st, 2024.
