On August 12th at 6:05am Elissa Ann Dube-Jones entered her eternal rest. She is survived by her husband Robert Jones; children Ricci Dean Hartmann Jr and Raven Angelica-Barbara Jones; her grandchildren Connor Aiden Aquilina, Maverick Dean Hartmann and Sylas James Hartmann. Not only was she survived by her children and grandchildren, but any other person that has come into her life. Elissa was a mother, a sister, a friend and a giver to all.
Elissa Dube Jones was born in Providence, Rhode Island on November 14th 1973. As a young girl, she lived in Army family housing at the US Military Academy in West Point, New York. Later, she spent some of her years in Belmont and Lakeville, Massachusetts; Cranston and Providence, Rhode Island; and finally the remainder of her life living in both Hudson and Spring Hill, Florida.
In Rhode Island, Elissa attended college with her son at her side. Moving forward, she was director of maid service for the New England Patriots and took pride in her work and working for Mike D. Elissa had a love for music, specifically 90’s R&B and hip hop. She took her love for music and became a vocal coach, and even taught her daughter to play the piano. Elissa took on cosmetology school in Florida and her love for cosmetology took charge in her life. Elissa became a master braider until medical conditions took her abilities away. Due to her conditions she started her own online boutiques. Elissa was a master of all trades, always making sure she made a way for her family regardless of the obstacles life had given her. Elissa’s drive and selfless soul will forever live through her friends and family.
Eternal God, help us to remember Elissa with joy and thanksgiving for the time we shared together. May her memory be a blessing to all of us and a reminder that love never dies. Amen
