Elizabeth G. Kraybill, 71, (4/27/1955-7/22/2026)

We are saddened by the passing of our much loved sister, Lizzy. Elizabeth Grove Kraybill was the daughter of the late Richard and Jean Kraybill of Bradenton, Florida.  Lizzy was born in Rochester, NY on 4/27/1955.  She attended Rush Henrietta High School graduating in 1973.  She went on to Cazenovia College where she studied art, graduating in 1975.  She especially liked painting and print making.

Liz was a shy, sweet woman who loved music, playing both piano and guitar.  She was an avid swimmer who also enjoyed sailing with her family.  She was known to rescue spiders inside the house.  She loved cats.  She had been a cheerleader in high school.

Liz lived independently with her partner Eric for over 20 years after living in group homes due to a chronic illness.  She overcame many obstacles with the support of both her family and community in Florida.

Liz’s family is grateful for her friends and care providers.  She is survived by 3 sisters: Mary Allen (Fred) of Holland, Michigan, Virginia Patsos (Dan) of Walton, NY, and Anne Krecko (Valentin) of Hershey, Pennsylvania.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
