Elizabeth Gonzalez, 71 of New Port Richey, passed away peacefully, on Monday, July 20, 2020 surrounded by loved ones.
Elizabeth was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Maximino Gonzalez is survived by her mother Cesarea Tirado and attended school in Puerto Rico before moving to the United States to begin her family. She retired as a Site Activities Coordinator for the Meals on Wheels Program, in New Bedford, Massachusetts and joined her children in Florida.
Elizabeth known to her family as Ely will be most remembered for her beautiful fragrance and warm hugs, she enjoyed shopping, finding great deals at Bealls and Saturday morning yard sales. When she was not spending time with her family, you could find her fellowshipping with her church family at The Well Worship Center. Ely, adored her children, grandchildren and loved singing, playing board games, and eating at her favorite Olive Garden.
Elizabeth is survived by one brother Anibal Gonzalez; three sisters Carmen Gonzalez and her husband Pedro, Lucy Guzman and her husband William, and Evelyn Gonzalez and her husband Baso’ Ortiz; four sons, Willie Sanchez and his wife Angelica, Juan Sanchez, Eliseo Sanchez, Sr and his wife Denisha, Johnny Sanchez and his wife Michelle; three daughters Lillian Sanchez and her husband Louis “Albert” Algarin, Cynthia Vargas, and Sandra Perez and her husband Renato; a beloved God daughter Edna “Milly” Dross; 26 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers Benjamin Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez, and Eliseo Gonzalez.
Relatives and church family are invited to a memorial service on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 7:00 pm at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, 6819 Jasmine Blvd, Port Richey, FL 34668.

I would Like to send my condolences to The whole Sanchez family Elizabeth will be greatly missed with her beautiful smile and soft-spoken voice…She was A Soldier in the army for the Lord..She has earned her wings may she watch over each and every last one of you.. Heaven Has Gained a Angel 🙏🏽🕊🕊
