It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Margaret Boyle announces her passing on September 27th, 2024, at the age of 85. Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her loving sons George, Michael, Thomas, John and Steven; sisters Mary and Dolores; brothers William and George; eleven grandchildren; as well as ten great-grandchildren.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Elizabeth spent most of her years on the Isles of Capri in Naples, Florida, and her later years were spent in Ozona, Florida. She was a retired banker and her hobbies included gardening, dancing, arts and crafts, as well as socializing. She made friends everywhere she went. Her favorite thing in life was spending time with her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
It was Betty’s (as she preferred to be called) wish to be cremated and a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suncoast Animal League 1030 Pennsylvania Avenue Palm Harbor Fl. 34683, as Betty was a lifetime pet lover.
We will always “ love you to infinity and beyond “ as that was her favorite parting saying to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Knew Betty for years. Took Holy Communion weekly. Used to share lunch with her at her home and visit while she watched her favorite TV shows. She was interested in everything and enjoyed life. Loved her family with a passion. Had their names and hearts on her walls and in her heart for sure. She was a loving woman and I admired her determination to walk… and dance. Sadly she never reached her goals. But she brought joy wherever she was because of her great interest and love of people.
Wish I was able to attend her funeral and hope she had a funeral mass. I will have a mass said for her at our parish – St. Luke’s the Evangelist in Palm Harbor.
So sorry for the family’s loss – especially her granddaughter. They adored each other.

There are few people in everyone’s life that positively impact their lives with love, compassion, and joy. Betty was that person to many people. She always treated me as a son, and I will cherish the many many fun memories we had as a family. Especially the countless times she had to say “shut up Dave”😍
Praying for the family in this time, but reminding them that she will always be with us in memory and soul.
