Eugene Richard Boissy, 88, of Hudson, FL passed away at home on Sunday, June 14th, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on March 29, 1932, the son of Clifford and Mable (Dignard) Boissy. He graduated from Mount Assumption Institute, Class of 1952. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his service with the Army, he returned to Plattsburgh, NY where he married his high school sweetheart Geraldine Allen. Eugene worked as a butcher at the A & P Grocery for 20 years before moving to Florida in 1978, where he owned and operated a pool contracting business. Eugene was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Geraldine Allen, two sisters, Elaine Jock and Patricia Diamond and one brother Carl Boissy. He is survived by his three sons, Kevin and his wife Terry, Robert and his wife Jeanne, Eugene Jr. and his wife Carey, and one daughter Kim Plymesser and her husband Rex, 8 grandchildren, Katie Ponall, Beth Shuck, Kaylynn Visser, Kerissa Plymesser, Danny Boissy, Jeremy Boissy, Landry Boissy, Lindsey Boissy, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Many fond memories of growing up with the Boissy family. He was a great Uncle. Rest Easy Uncle Gene. Sorry Kim, Bob, Geno and Kevin.
