Dear Kathy and Noel. Aunt Del and I are sad to hear about Eugene’s passing. I will miss his phone calls on the holidays. He had a good heart. He always let my mom and dad stay with him whenever they came to Florida. I’m sure he’s entertaining everyone in heaven. Love Aunt Del and Connie

Dear Kathy and Noel,
Being notified about the passing of your brother Gene (My Friend) has given me tremendous sadness. It gave me a reason to reflect on our friendship that began just over 60 years ago. Hard to believe all of those years have gone by. The move your family and Gene made from Michigan to Florida made it difficult to have the same friendship as we had enjoyed for all of the years we had growing up, but the friendship remained none the less until his passing last Monday morning.

For many years after Gene first moved to Florida, we were able to see each other and even travel a little together, which was always a good thing. However, the last number of years the visits were much further apart. But no matter how many years passed, I could still pick up the telephone and we were able to pick up right where we left off. (Amazing)
I was very fortunate and blessed to be able to call Gene “My Best Friend” for so many years.

Hopefully, some of the sadness will subside and I will be able to focus on all the great memories made growing up with him and beyond.

God Bless You Gene! May you truly rest in peace.

With Love,
Tom Lehner

Dear Kathy and Noel,
I am very sorry for the loss of your brother Eugene.
When growing up in Michigan we had lots of fun times together driving around in his car and boating at the grandparents cottage.
I will remember his laugh long into the future.
God Bless him and his family.
Cousin, Jerry

I miss you more than you will ever know. I miss our talks of aliens and ghost and time travelors, basically the unknown. You were my hero. When we were young mom always made you look after me. You always did it with kindness. When I was scared as a small child you let me sleep with you, well, until I puked on you! I thank you for always being there for me! Now you can walk, are you again and thin. Flirting with the angels and talking to mom, dad and Ralph. ALL our grandparents too and they told you “Job well done Gene!” You earned your angel wings!” Till we meet again, not to soon though! Love you, your sister, Kathy XXXOOO
