Evelyn Galyas, 92 of Tarpon Springs, FL passed into eternal rest, Wed, May 13, 2020 after an extended illness of vascular dementia. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 60 years-Joseph. They retired to FL in 1985 from their native Norwalk, CT. Survived by her son Gary (Beryl) Pearland, Tx, and daughter Judith (Al) Stenta, Lutz, FL, 2 grandchildren; 2 very beloved nieces-Virginia Black (PA) and Holly Lyman (CT) and a special family friend Debbie G. of Holiday, (FL). An animal lover, donations in her honor may be made to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.The family wishes to thank the staff of Peninsula Care,
and Suncoast Hospice for their support. There are no services planned.

Sorry to your loss. My name is spelled Galiyas very close to Galyas and wondering if we are related? Live in Palm Harbor originally from Pittsburgh of Yugoslavlian decent. Once again sorry for Mom, she had a good life.

We are so sorry to hear about Aunt Evelyn’s passing. I have such fond memories of being with you all growing up and the fun we had on Cedar St. Aunt Evelyn was such fun to be around. Blessings Ginger
