George “Buck” Hartman, 71, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on July 12th, 2022. Buck was preceded in death by his parents, George and Beverly Hartman. He is survived by his loving wife Diana; three sons Jason, Joseph, and Jessie; his two brothers Tim and Rich; as well as his sister Patti; one grandson Dylan; and one stepson Jack.
Buck was originally from Gagetown, Michigan, where he grew up on a small farm and this is where his passion for fishing, camping and hunting took hold and continued to flourish throughout his life. Anyone who knew Buck, knew his love of fishing!
Buck will be remembered for many qualities – he was smart, hard-working, and respectful. But first and foremost, he was a fighter! He battled acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) with every ounce of his being for eleven months and was affectionately referred to as being “Buck Strong”.
Buck was a Veteran, a craftsman, fisherman, brother, husband, father and friend to many. He will be missed but not forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 6th, 2022 at The Angelus House; 12413 Hudson Ave; Hudson, Florida 34669; from 6pm to 8pm.

So sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences to Diana and family. Buck was a good friend of my husband George. They were great fishing “buddies.”
