George F. Farmerie, 83 of New Port Richey, former Air Conditioning Technician with Sears in Pittsburgh and New Port Richey, FL entered into eternal rest on November 5, 2020. He was born on July 18, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late George A. and Rose Marie (Bendot) Farmerie.

George is survived by his wife of 58 years Bette Farmerie of New Port Richey; 5 sons George M. Farmerie of Virginia, Robert J. Farmerie and his wife Elsie of Port Richey, FL, Jeffery R. Farmerie and his wife Debbie of North Carolina, Brian W. Farmerie and his wife Tammy of Hudson, FL, Charles A. Farmerie and his wife Christine of Lakeland, FL; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

George was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He moved from Pittsburgh to Florida in 1985. He was an avid Street Rod enthusiast and a member of the Tampa Knights for the last 23 years. George also enjoyed gardening, RVing and spending time with his family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 21, 2020 at the Living Word Church 5151 Rowan Road, New Port Richey, FL. at 11:00 a.m. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care (866-800-1543).
