George M. Martin, 65, of New Port Richey Florida died at 10:58 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at North Bay Hospital, New Port Richey, Florida.
George was born on March 8, 1958 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Stewart F. and Mary E. Martin (Stevenson). George was a retired chef and had a long and varied food service career in the Clearwater and Dunedin Florida region.

George graduated from high school in Smyrna Tennessee. He was an avid reader and maintained a life-long interest in American history. He was notably skilled at recalling trivia of many genres. He also enjoyed traveling throughout America. As a young man, George made a profession of faith in Christ, but was not an adherent to organized religion.

George was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother Steven (Rose Marie) of Great Falls Montana, sister Donna Anderson (Jim), Niece Colline Anderson, and Great nephew Blake Smith, all of Lilburn Georgia, as well as numerous cousins.

George will be interred with his parents and amongst other family members in a private ceremony at Browns Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg, Ohio.
