Today was a day that I feared coming for the last several years, I lost my dad this morning at 1047am. A week ago Sunday he was rushed to the hospital with pneumonia, Covid, and a heart attack he fought the good fight this week but things did not turn around in the end, it was too much for him at 94 to beat. If anyone could have beat it, it would have been my dad, he has had pneumonia three other times since he was 90, once was so bad he was on a vent for 6 days and he pulled through it so I was praying he could pull it off but this time it was just too much for his body to handle. Dad, you are the strongest person I’ve ever known from fighting and being shot in the Koren war to having to live the last 8-plus years on a feeding tube, that alone, knowing that you could never eat or drink food again would have been the end for me. You are my hero and will be missed so much. I know you are now in a so much better place and with Mom and that gives me peace I love you and will miss you but I know I will see you and Mom again one day.
