Gerald John “Jerry” Carson, 78, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on February 6th, 2023. He was a retired funeral director of twenty years at Dobies Funeral Homes. He was a member of the Ohio State Funeral Directors Association and the Tri-County Funeral Directors Association. He was an avid pilot for over forty years, a former sailing instructor, an assistant Boy Scout Master for several years, as well as a Tarpon Shores Mobile Home Park maintenance supervisor. He was preceded in death by his wife Candice L. Carson.
He is survived by his son Matthew G. Carson; stepson John (Jay) Dobkowski and stepdaughter Carla Bettross; four grandsons; as well as his niece Candy Terrigno and nephew Jim Carson.
