Gerald Lee Brown, 85, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on July 10th, 2023.

Gerald (Jerry) Brown was born in Dryridge, Kentucky to Emerson and Wilma Brown.

In 1953, Jerry moved to Aurora, Indiana to live with his mother and stepfather, Larry Gardner, where he graduated from Aurora High School in 1957.

While attending Franklin College, Gerald married Nancy Turner, also from Aurora, in 1960. Jerry and Nancy eventually settled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana where they owned “Hearborn Music Store” in the 1970’s and Gerald worked for the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company as a Supervisor for the operator department for 25 years, until his retirement in 1995. After his retirement, Jerry and Nancy settled in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

A loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-grandfather. Jerry was also an avid golfer.

Gerald will be deeply missed by his wife Nancy (81); sons Kerry (62) of San Diego, CA., Erick (51) of Lawrenceburg, IN., and Jeffrey (49) of Virginia Beach, VA.; as well as granddaughters Samantha Gantz, Ashley Brown, Natalie Brown; one grandson Alexander Brown; great-granddaughter Mackenzie and great-grandsons Liam and Landon.

His brother, Melvin, preceded him in death on April 11, 2013. He leaves three sisters, Judy Knopp of OH., Linda Palendat of MO., and Connie of TN.; and one brother, Emerson of TN.
