Gus, you will be missed greatly by your loving family. Personally, the first thing that comes to mind is to thank you for your service to our great country. You did your duty and for that we are proud. Thanks for the amazing memories that will last a life time, thanks for the advice and help when I needed it those decades ago. In thinking about you, and the many great times and laughs we had, the thing that sticks out in my mind the most, is you painting your fence with used motor oil. I was like, is this real. But it worked. My love prayers and deepest condolences for Paula Peter and Maria. Sleep well marine, and we will meet again. Our blessed Lord and those you loved before you have you with them. Thanks again Gus, and Rest in Peace!!!! Much Love…..BOBBY

So Sorry for your loss! I knew Gus in the Marine Corps, aboard the USS Intrepid. We did 2 Med Cruises together and spent time in Athens and other Greek cities. Gus was our interpreter and showed us the finer points of Greek culture. He was a good friend and a sharp Marine. Good Memories. Semper Fi, Jarhead. God’s Speed buddy.
