Howard Francis Hewitt, age 74, passed away peacefully on 3/28/2018.
He was a courageous, kind man who loved motorcycles, NASCAR, and was devoted to his wife and children and grandchildren.
He was born in Sioux City, IA, and was the youngest son of James and Minnie Hewitt.
He served his country in Vietnam, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant while completing three tours of duty overseas. He would be awarded a Purple Heart and V for Valor medals of distinction for his service.
He was predeceased by his parents brother and four sisters.
He was wholly devoted to and survived by his wife, Annette Hewitt, of Port Richey, FL, his children, Carolyn Forsell (Erik), of Milford, PA, and Andrew Hewitt (Jennifer),of Port Richey, FL, and his grandchildren, Vincent Forsell (Jacqueline Pujol), of Media, PA, and Matthew Forsell, of Milford, PA.
A Funeral Service in memory of Howard will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., at the Thomas B Dobies Funeral Home, 9944 Hudson Ave., Hudson, FL.
