Jack George Loupis, 77, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on February 11, 2025. Born in Tampa, FL, on October 27, 1947, Jack grew up splitting his time between Tarpon Springs, FL, and New York.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Jack served his country for three years, including one year in Vietnam. Following his military service, he dedicated 20 years to law enforcement serving as a sergeant with the New Port Richey Police Department and retiring in 1990.
Jack was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast who took pride in his 1955 Chevy Bel Air, which he showcased in parades and car shows as a member of the Antique Car Club. A skilled mechanic, he had a natural talent for fixing anything, from cars to household repairs. Jack also enjoyed fishing, refinishing furniture, and cooking.
Above all, Jack was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Noreen Loupis; his daughters, Angie Anthony and Jacquelyn Loupis; and many extended family members and friends who cherished his warm spirit, great sense of humor, and generous heart. Jack was a hard worker and a joy to be around, leaving behind countless fond memories for those who knew and loved him.
Services for Jack will be held at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tarpon Springs on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. With heavy, broken hearts, Dee Etta and I send our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Noreen, Angie and Jackie. As we always referred to him, “Our Jack” was more than a close friend, but part of our loving, chosen family. We spent our holidays together and celebrations too numerous to mention. We made each time together a celebration, even an ordinary day, became Extra-ordinary, as our long time friendship, was filled with love, respect and kindness for each other.
We lost so much more than a friend in “our Jack”, but a vital piece of our forever family. Till we meet again, dear Jack…. Forever in our hearts,
With love…
