James J. Byrne, 70, of Holiday, Florida, passed away on April 19, 2021. He is survived by his children, Tammie, Jamie, Tracey, Amy, and Roger; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; friends, Dave and Margo.

I’m so sorry to hear that he has passed away. I know that Pat is welcoming him only the way they always greeted each other, with a drink in one hand and a cigarette. I can hear them now laughing and having a great time. He was such a funny guy. I feel honored to have met him. My prayers are with you all. I know he loved his family very much.

Jim is my step brother. For years he was my golfing partner in Connecticut. Our families separated and moved to different areas. Jim was my best man at my wedding. We grew apart when our parents passed away. I found him on Facebook one day and we reconnected. To Tammie and Jamie, I’m truly sorry for your loss. To other family members, I am sorry. RIP Jim, you will be missed.

Miss you Jim. The last good time we had together was on our cruise. MSC. We had such good laughs. You even tried to help me with my gambling.
