James (Jim) K. Boso, 77, of Hudson, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.  He was born in East Liverpool, OH on April 17, 1945, to Kenneth Boso and Ruth Pethel Boso Brewer.  Jim was a resident of Hudson, FL moving here from Panama City, FL 4 years ago. Jim was the former CFO of BASIC Northwest Florida having retired in 2016.  Jim was currently working with BASIC as a consultant to the accounting department.  Jim was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a Personnel Specialist.  Jim loved golf, writing short stories, riding his Can-Am Spyder, and collecting Fiesta Pottery.

Jim is survived by his wife of 33 years Melanie Boswell Boso, daughter, Linda Boso Payne,  son-in-law Tim Payne and their son Riley, his son Nicholas R. Dahn, daughter-in-law Elaina Lorenzo Dahn and their 3 daughters Ella, Lyla, and Aria and his daughter Megan E. Ossler, son-in-law Jason Ossler and their 3 sons Cohen, Mason, and Emmett.

A Memorial will be held at 11 am, Monday, November 14, 2022, at Dobies Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at The National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.  Military honors will be accorded.  A reception will follow at the home of  Melanie Boso.
