Jean E. Richards, 87, of Port Richey, FL, passed away on August 5th, 2021. She was born to parents John and Inez Robson, on January 5th 1934 in Washington Township, NJ.
She is survived by Diane/Jim Metzel- Daughter/Son-in-law, Brian/Eleni Richards-Son/Daughter-in-law, Carol Richards-Daughter, Grandchildren-Brandon Trailor, Cody Richards, Seth Richards, Sarai Metzel, Jennifer Metzel, Great Grandchildren-Tristan Trailor, Alexander Trailor, Morgana Trailor, and Odin Richards-Mastromarino. Siblings-Elinor Nark, Harlan Robson, and Helen Mazzarella.
Jean studied Business Education at Trenton State College, NJ, and graduated with a BS in Business Education.
Jean was a Business Teacher for many years. Her last 11 years of teaching were spent at PTEC, St Petersburg, FL, and retired in 1999.
Jean enjoyed reading, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by John and Inez Robson-Parents, Maxine, Dorothy, and John (Bud)-Siblings.
The family has entrusted Dobie’s Funeral Home with the arrangements. A Memorial Service is scheduled for August 28th, 2021 @ 2 PM at 6616 Congress St. New Port Richey, FL 34653. A reception will follow at “Mom’s Home” following the Memorial.

Diane, Carolina and Brian ❤️ we all are so very sorry for your loss. We have fond memories of your mom. Her smile and laughter was always so welcoming. We enjoyed our many visits with her while we were in Florida. May she Rest In Peace and the many memories you hold in your hearts bring you comfort.
