As a nurse, I have spent more than 35 years caring for the elderly. Part of that is helping families say goodbye and aiding their loved ones in passing on with dignity and without pain. At Fairway Chalet, my staff and I know what an immense privilege this is and the incredibly important responsibility we hold. To honor the passing of those whom we cared for and their families’ loss, no matter the length of time we cared for them, we remember them and carry them with us in our work, holding them close to our hearts in hopes that we can do more and do better for the next person and their family.
To Christine and all your family, you all are not alone in missing Jeanne and in grieving her loss. I hope knowing this brings you all some peace and comfort.

I am so saddened with the passing of my long friend jeanne. we worked together in new Jersey many years ago. She was an angel. God kept her on this earth so long because he lived her so. She was one of a kind. She was a wonderful mother kind and patient. a wonderful human being and now she will be with Eugene in heaven. She is a saint.
