Born in France, she moved to NY when she was 5. She lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn & Staten Island, NY as well as Spotswood, NJ before finally calling New Port Richey, Fl home.
With her kind heart and warm soul, she was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Her ability to care for people was second to none. Her smile would light up a room and you could always count on a “love you more” from her anytime you spoke to her. She was a member of the Salvation Saloon Church and had a very loving relationship with God and the church. Jeannine was a loving mother to Joseph Latona (Ellyn Latona) and grandmother to Joseph “Coco” Latona. She was a wonderful sister to Ann Olsen (John Olsen), sister-in-law to Kathi Kocur, and aunt to Kaitlyn Kocur. Jeannine was also a loving companion to Douglas Setchel who always referred to her as his “Angel”.
A memorial service will be held at Dobie’s Funeral Home in Tarpon Springs on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 5:30 pm

To Jeannine’s family. I only knew Jeannine through FaceTimes and phone calls and of course through the loving words my Daddy had to say about her. I was blessed to finally be able to thank her in person the day of her passing.
I thanked her for loving him like he deserved. I will forever be grateful that because of her my Daddy was back at church. She sent me a picture one time of my Dad sitting in a church pew, from that moment she stole my heart. She was so kind and loving and I will miss her sweet voice calling me “Barbara Jean”. Jeannine will forever stay in my heart. I am so grateful to of known her for the short time that I did.
Love & Prayers
