Jeffrey W. Johnson 62 of New Port Richey, FL passed away on Thursday Feb. 6, 2025. He was born on Dec. 24, 1962 in Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada to Earl (Gene) and Joyce Johnson. He moved to New Port Richey in 1974 when his dad retired from the military where Jeff has lived and raised his family.
Jeff was a graduate of Gulf High School and made his living in the retail grocery business, most recently with Winn Dixie as a Liquor Store Manager. Jeff loved cooking, boating, fishing and camping. But most of all spending time with his boys and family.
Jeff leaves behind his two sons Justyn Johnson (Markie Gourley and son Kyron) of Springhill, FL, Jaryd Johnson (Summer), grandson Flynn, mother Joyce Johnson, sister Michele Schoggins (James) , niece Richele Allen all of New Port Richey and nephew Timothy Johnson of Chester, PA .
Jeff was preceeded in death by his father Earl Johnson and brother Michael (Gator) Johnson.
Services to be held Saturday 2/22/25 at Dobies Funeral Home on Congress St. in New Port Richey at 11 am.

We are so saddened to hear about Jeff’s passing. We enjoyed having him and his family as our neighbors for many years and appreciated his friendship. We are thinking of Justyn, Jaryd and his family at this difficult time. Praying that Jeff has found eternal peace.
