Jerre Lyons Creske III, Age 60, passed away January 18th, 2025. He is survived by his parents Jerre and Carolyn Creske, wife Roda Creske, sisters Elizabeth (Kris) Hoover, Margaret (Rick) Lockwood, Brother Henry (Brenda) Creske, his children Sarah Creske and Jerre Lyons Creske IV, Sagal Aden, Adam Aden, Warda Aden and Safiya Aden. Jerre was the proud grandfather of Ava and Wesley Johnson, with many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Jerre was born in Meriden, CT. in April 1964, and raised in Columbus, OH. Jerre attended Dublin Coffman High school where he wrestled and played football.  After Graduating from Dublin High school, Jerre achieved a Bachelor of Science in Business from Franklin University. Jerre had a successful career in the printing and IT industry.

His love for all six of his children was unwavering. He embraced each with the same kindness, wisdom, and humor, treating them as his own. Jerre was a profound father, protector, guide, and their greatest supporter in every sense of the word. His legacy lives on in the countless memories he created with them and the invaluable lessons he imparted about love, resilience, hard work, and family.

Jerre was a lifelong fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed fishing, boating, grilling, and spending time walking on the beach with his loving wife. He enjoyed playing with their kitten Leo, who brought out his silly side.

Jerre will be remembered by all for is incredible sense of humor, positivity and kind heart. His laughter was contagious, never a stranger did Jerre meet, always engaging and sharing his love of life.

He is now reunited in peace with those who have gone before him, and his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him. We are deeply grateful for the time we shared with Jerre; his love and guidance will be missed but never forgotten.

 

“LAST!” – a beloved inside joke between his siblings, forever a reminder of the playful bond they shared.
