Jerry Thomas Catrett ,72, of Spring Hill entered into rest on February 1, 2021.He was born on October 21, 1948 in Beesemer, AL. the son of the late Gaston and Ida (Lee) Catrett.

Jerry is survived by his daughters Tina Wise of St. Petersburg and Tammy Dwyer of Tennessee, sisters Betty Bradley and Rachel Powers, brothers Johnny Catrett and Dale Catrett 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Jerry grew up in Largo, FL and graduated from Largo High School in 1967.

He was a very thoughtful, loving Dad and brother.

Jerry was a block and brick mason by trade.

At the age of 25 he decided to become a ballroom dance instructor for Arthur Murray Studios. He was very successful and won many awards. He gave lessons later in life for people who wanted to learn.

He loved playing the guitar, singing hymns, studied the Bible religiously and went to church when he could because of his health.

He lived in North Carolina in the summer and Florida in the winter.

As his wish he was cremated and his ashes will be spread at Mount Mitchell in North Carolina.
