October 05, 1977~September 02, 2023
Jessica Ann Davis, age 45, passed away suddenly on September 2nd 2023, in New Port Richey, Florida. She is preceded in death by her mother Julia Collins, survived by her father Larry Davis, daughters Ashley Worrell and Bella Barresse, brother Josh Davis, and husband Roy Watern.
Born on October 5th, 1977 in Cincinnati Ohio, Jessica spent her formative years with her younger brother and cousins. Despite many moves between Ohio, Kentucky, and South Carolina, she cultivated life long friendships across state lines.
Shortly after moving to New Port Richey, Florida, in 1995 she worked at the Reef, where she met many of her greatest friends. In 1998, Jessica gave birth to her first born daughter, Ashley. Many years later, in 2011, she gave birth to her second daughter, Bella. Being a mother was one of the greatest joys of Jessica’s life, she was incredibly loving and doting, willing to sacrifice anything for the happiness of her family. In 2019, Jessica married her husband Roy, and became step mother to his son, Ryan.
Jessica was an incredible woman who touched the lives of many with her magnetic personality, compassionate soul, and fierce loyalty. She enjoyed the outdoors, watching and photographing the sunset, riding her longboard, writing, drawing, and being with her daughters. The hole she’s left in our lives is gaping, and she will be sorely missed. Until we meet again.

Jessica was a dear friend to me and my wife Tabitha. The two greatest gifts Jessica gave me was her friendship. And introducing me to my wife. I have so many fun memories from our high school days. You will be missed immensely. But will always hold a place in my heart. Until we meet again my dear friend.

Jessica,Wow.Never in the world would have Imagined having to write this.I met her in 2011 we were neighbors. We always tried to be there for each other, became really good friends,I remember the day like it was yesterday when she brought Bella home an She was an amazing mother. We all have had issues in life but we were great friends working on moving forward and we had moved away from each other. We both had these small apartments in New America an they were not new but we both found homes in them until we got houses,we stayed in touch we would meet up every day at PAR sharing everything that was changing in our life an she brightened your day no matter what life was bringing us my smile helped her and her smile helped me even though life has its ups and down no matter how hard you try but she would give anything for her kids, anything and she taught me a few things about being a mom myself.I haven’t seen her lately,I moved to Tampa, I just figured it was the distance never thought in the world you would leave it before me she would tell me all the time just don’t give up. I have a chronic illness I’m still fighting an I’m 51 she was so young an had so much life in her.I will miss her everyday but I also know I will see her again an I can not wait to see that smile again an to know we will be neighbors again in a much blessed place and a forever home.I hope her family is well and my prayers are with you.She would want you to live life to your fullest and carry her with you in your heart. We may leave this place physically but we are always watching spiritually. She will always be beside you in anything you accomplish or do not accomplish Mom’s are forever.May God bless all of you and keep flying high.I just wish I had known i just thought we got busy shows people even when your busy pick up a phone an say hi no matter what even if it’s just for a second to make sure there okay, you never know.Much love to Ashley and Bella an the family.
