She loved family gatherings, boating, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, beaches, playing golf, corn hole, card games, bocci, bingo, and more. She loved to travel to distant relatives and friends and sightsee along the way. She was involved in many activities at her beloved Hope Lutheran Chuch, including; handbells, choir, quilting, Kairos, church grounds keeping, plus several other groups and committees.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on September 20th, 2024 at Hope Lutheran Church

Joann always made me feel like I was her favorite person. She was gentle loving and strong all at the same time. The last year she was able to play golf she was a force to be recorded with. Her skills got better as she aged. A kind and giving person. I am lucky that she was in my life. My prayers and love goes out to her family and friends. I always have a smile when I think of her. I’m glad she is a peace now.

Her smile warmed a room, her attendance graced everyone around her. The love she gave was unconditional. Growing up and having Joann as a part of my life was a blessing. I’m honored to have lived with her as family and take comfort in her watching over us. She has been called back to the lords kingdom where she may live and rest in peace. Knowing as she was called upon, her family loved her and will be forever blessed but miss her.

We will miss this giver of friendship, of advice, of hugs and smiles! The world is a better place thanks to her presence! It has been said that there are and have been that once in a lifetime person that one would do anything to be close to and know, Joann is one of them! I’ve been blessed to have known her for a very short time and wished it had been longer. God speed Joann. Blessings to your family.

The light that shined through Joann, is now magnified as she enters God’s kingdom.
It was an honor to get to know you and I know that your love for Vic and his family was unconditional. By God’s grace, we will be reunited and I will keep that promise in my heart forever.
